Hi Peeps,
So it’s been three years since Robert Murdoch bought Myspace. It seemed kind’a crazy at the time shelling out 580 million buckaroos for it… and heck, eventhough they didn’t hit their target revenue target of $ONE BILLION… um, they manages to bring in a paltry sum of
Of course there was that HUGE controversy surrounding the whole issue of Tom not really being the creator of MySpace and how investors were scammed into selling it to Mr. Murdoch for “too cheap”!
So *The Real Story Behind MySpace written by MySpace Founder Brad Greenspan makes for a VERY interesting read. It goes into who Tom really is and why it was a mistake to sell-out for only $580 billion to Murdoch. I read it a long time ago…
*not the actual title of “The MySpace Report” but I wrote this “new” title because it explains what it’s really about… and now I’m sure that brad is Extremely happy about hisLawsuit Arising from Unfair Sale of MySpace to News Corp to Proceed to Trial…
Facebook is MySpace’s main competition… so let’s check out some statistical comparisons (provided by compete.com) between MySpace & Facebook:

Velocity reports the relative change in daily Attention. Velocity is used to determine the relative growth of a domain over a particular timeframe or compared to other sites.

Now MySpace has the same Apps as Facebook… they just don’t work on the MySpace platform all that well I’d say… Facebook does a way better job of integrating Apps on their platform.
Maybe I’m biased(doubt it)…
I’m on Facebook WAY more than MySpace… although I may check out MySpace Karaoke and MySpace’
s classifieds very soon… I mean I’ve looked at the pages but haven’t used them yet… and, of course there’s MySpace Music…
Have an awesome time on MySpace and Facebook Peeps!
God Bless,
Yoon
