Hi Peeps,
So Google Video has allowed anyone to link to any part of a video that they host… so if you wanted someone to watch a video starting at an hour and 17 minutes into a three hour video(for example) then you could. This has been available for over two years…
Now you can FINALLY do this with YouTube vids… it’s about time!
All you have to do is add this code snippet ā#t=5m17sā to the end of the YouTube link(not the Embed code but the link you find in the URL field). As you can guess 5m equates to 5 minutes and 17s is 17 seconds… so you’re linking directly to 5 minutes and 17 seconds into the video.
So anything before the “m” are the minutes and anything between the “m” & “s” are the seconds
Here’s an example(video opens in new window)…
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mteMQh5zD0c#t=1m38s
As you can see, the video starts @ 1 minute and 38 seconds into the video.
So far it looks like there is no way to embed YouTube videos to play starting @ any point other than the very beginning of the video…
God Bless,
Yoon

That’s freaking awesome!
